The Deep Blue Sea

The Deep Blue Sea
An exquisite adaptation of Terence Rattigan’s play, Terence Davies’ film is a richly rewarding
evocation of life in 50s London, which provides the backdrop to an illicit love affair.

Hester (Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz) finds a passionate escape from her bloodless marriage to William (Simon Russell Beale) in the arms of Freddie (Tom Hiddleston). But her actions are out of keeping with the times and her overwhelming desire for Freddie threatens their relationship.

Romain Duris apprécié à Londres.

The Big Picture

Paul Exben (Romain Duris) is a success story - a great job, a beautiful wife and two wonderful sons. Except that this is not the life he had been dreaming of. A moment of madness is going to change his life, forcing him to assume a new identity that will enable him to live his life fully and, at last, see the big picture...

A taut, evoking drama starring enigmatic French actor Romain Duris following acclaimed performances in The Beat My Heart Skipped and the break-out success Heartbreaker. A huge box-office hit in France, the film also stars the renowned Catherine Deneuve (Potiche) alongside Marina Fois (22 Bullets) and Neils Arestrup (A Prophet). The Big Picture is directed by Eric Lartigau (I Do) and based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Douglas Kennedy.
